Beer
Q: When is the glass really half full? A: When you can see the sunlight in the bottom
Alcohol makes its own excuses for being miraculous. . .
London, for what it's worth, can be a very beautiful place at sunset. . .
Money often
shines as bright as history. . .
Sometimes
you have to look at things a bit off-center. . .
Children
There's
something distinctly disarming about that sort of trust. . .
When you
look at a swing from a child's perspective, it doesn't seem to matter that
at any given moment, you might fall.
There are two sides to every bridge. . .
The girl in the photographs is Tegan Jayne Davies, the photographer's niece. Pictured first at almost 24 months, and again at 3 years. She belongs solely to her parents, sister and "Auntie Alex".
The first beer picture was taken at the Wheel And Compass pub, Dorset county. The second was taken at the Meon Shores, Lee-On-The-Solent.
The picture of Big Ben was obviously taken in London, and the picture of the skyline was taken from a moving boat on the Thames.
The bridge is the original 11th-century Roman bridge at Bath. The front is the side you can see from the city; the back the part they don't want the tourists to see.
All photographs
taken in the UK on the photographer's father's Nikon automatic. <grin>
